Viva Connections
Viva Connections surfaces your existing SharePoint intranet inside Microsoft Teams, with a mobile-first dashboard of cards. It is a delivery surface, not a replacement for your intranet pages.
Its strongest case is reaching people who live in Teams or on a phone and rarely open a browser tab for the intranet — frontline, field and shift workers.
Dashboard cards are deliberately small and glanceable, so anything with columns, filters or real work belongs behind the tap rather than on the card. The pattern that works: the card shows the number, the tap opens the page, the page has the web part.
